Position Opening: Brand & Marketing Consultant
Position Status: Part-time | Hybrid (Remote/In-person as needed)
Compensation: $35-$50/hour
Hours: 10-15 hours/week

St. Paul Youth Services (SPYS) is seeking a Brand & Marketing Consultant to support our communications and outreach efforts. This flexible, part-time role is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented professional who understands the power of storytelling, branding, and clear communication in advancing youth-focused work.
Responsibilities
The Brand & Marketing Consultant will work closely with SPYS staff to manage and implement the organization’s communications strategies, with responsibilities including:
Coordinate and maintain SPYS social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
Create and schedule engaging content across platforms to highlight youth programs, events, and impact.
Make updates to the SPYS website (Squarespace) as needed.
Support the writing, layout, and distribution of the SPYS newsletter.
Assist with PowerPoint presentations for funders, community meetings, and trainings.
Promote events through social media, email campaigns, flyers, and online listings.
Design flyers and graphics aligned with SPYS branding.
Support video editing or short-form video production for social media and presentations.
Assist with the grant reporting process.
Provide general communications support as needed.
Attend biweekly Resource Development Plan (RDP) Meetings
Attend monthly All Staff Meetings.
Qualifications
Expertise with brand & marketing.
Experience in digital marketing, communications, or nonprofit outreach.
Strong writing and proofreading skills.
Expertise with social media platforms and scheduling tools.
Experience with Canva, Adobe, and/or other design platforms. Video editing is a plus.
Expertise with website management (especially Squarespace).
Highly organized, self-directed, and collaborative.
