YOUTHPOWER Leadership Institute Winter 2018 Session for Black Girls & Young Women

St. Paul Youth Services is looking for brilliant, creative, resourceful Black girls and young women (ages 13-19) who love learning and are passionate about community change to participate in the YouthPower Leadership Institute Winter 2018 Session for Black Girls & Young Women.

Note: Youth MUST BE in St. Paul Youth Services' Behavior Intervention, Pre-Charge Diversion, and/or Children's Crisis Response program(s) to apply.

You'll have amazing experiences, learn from inspiring people, create strong connections, and create meaningful community change. By the end you'll create tools for yourselves and other youth to use to advocate for racial justice.

The Winter 2018 Session dates are January 8 - March 2, 2018.  Youth receive stipends of $15/hour for FULL participation and for meeting all program requirements of the program. YouthPower meets Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 4-6pm, with some additional hours based on scheduled activities.
