Summer Leadership Institute for Black Boys & Young Men
St. Paul Youth Services is looking for 15 bright, creative, resourceful Black boys and young men (ages 13-23) with excellent organizational and communication skills to participate in our first ever YouthPower Summer Leadership Institute.
You'll have amazing experiences, learn from inspiring people, create strong connections, and do intensive, meaningful work. By the end you'll create tools for yourselves and other youth to use to advocate for racial justice.
Participants will be paid $15/hr and work an estimated 30 hours per week from June 19 to August 25th, 2017.
Only current and past participants of St. Paul Youth Services programs, workshops, or forums are eligible to apply.
Space is limited so apply ASAP. Once spots are filled, we’ll start a waiting list. Contact St. Paul Youth Services staff for details.
The summer leadership institute is just the first phase of our new YouthPower program that will be open to all youth starting in the fall 2017.
