YOUTHPOWER Leadership Institute Summer 2018 Session for Black Girls & Young Women
St. Paul Youth Services is looking for brilliant, creative, resourceful Black girls and young women (ages 13-19) who love learning and are passionate about community change to participate in the YouthPower Leadership Institute Summer 2018 Session for Black Girls & Young Women.
Note: Youth MUST BE in St. Paul Youth Services' Behavior Intervention or Pre-Charge Diversion program(s) to apply.
You'll have amazing experiences, learn from inspiring people, create strong connections, and create meaningful community change. By the end you'll create tools for yourselves and other youth to use to advocate for racial justice.
The Summer 2018 Session runs from June 18th through August 1st. Youth receive stipends of $15/hour for FULL participation and for meeting all program requirements of the program. YouthPower meets regularly 3-4 days per week with some additional hours based on scheduled activities.
