ensuring participants represent A wide VARIETY OF SCHOOLS AND st. paul youth services' PROGRAMS.
WE WILL CONTACT PARTICIPATING YOUTH BY MONDAY, NOVEMBER 6.
ANY YOUTH NOT SELECTED FOR THE FALL 2017 SESSION WILL BE ADDED TO A WAITING LIST IN CASE ADDITIONAL SPOTS OPEN UP.

St. Paul Youth Services is looking for brilliant, creative, resourceful Black boys and young men (ages 13-19) who love learning and are passionate about community change to participate in the YouthPower Leadership Institute Fall 2017 Session for Black Boys & Young Men. Note: YOUTH MUST BE IN St. Paul Youth Services' Behavior Intervention, Diversion, OR Children's Crisis Response program(s) to apply.
You'll have amazing experiences, learn from inspiring people, create strong connections, and create meaningful community change. By the end you'll create tools for yourselves and other youth to use to advocate for racial justice.
The Fall 2017 Session dates are November 7 - December 21st. Youth receive stipends of $15/hour for FULL participation and for meeting all requirements of the program. YouthPower meets Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 4-6pm, with some additional hours based on scheduled activities.
The application is now closed, but you can still apply to be added to a waiting list in case additional spots open up.
