Respect Empathy Self-management Training

A six-session workshop series for 11-14 year old adolescents who:

  • Have problems with anger
  • Have conflicts that escalate
  • Do things they regret later
  • Want to learn ways to handle tough feeling and situations better

Young teens will:

  1. Identify the sources of anger and alternative ways for handling situations that ignite anger.
  2. Learn about the feelings that are often underneath anger and how to handle them.
  3. Identify the problems that ignite anger while they are still “on the horizon.”
  4. Learn how to choose good friends, how to keep friendships positive and how to end negative relationships.
  5. Learn how to keep thinking and solve problems.

Parents are expected to attend an initial intake and are invited to the final class.

The cost of the intake and six sessions is $150.00.

For more information or to sign up for the series, call the Community Education Coordinator at (651) 771-1301.
